I am a singer/songwriter from Tel-Aviv Israel. Not too keen on writing about myself so just take a look around, listen to my music, and you'll figure it out all by yourself. I'd be happy to read from you! Shalom, Sharon. About a month ago I was invited by songweavers.com to write music to the lyrics of Israel's president: Shimon Peres. I was curious of course, and immediately went about reading the lyrics of RAY OF HOPE. I was inspired immediately, as an Israeli, feeling deep down, each word written by Shimon Peres, as if I wrote it myself. Only, he had seen and felt this for such longer time, and in such greater depth...
That same night, I sat by the piano to compose music to RAY OF HOPE.
The next morning I already recorded, as usual, at home on the sofa, with my laptop and microphone...
I was later told my song is to be included in songweavers.com charity cd for peace, and I was offered help by ATC, to mix and master the song.

On December 5th I will be performing with Hed Big Band Jazz Orchestra, at ClubHed - Y.L.Peretz 3, Tel-Aviv, Israel. I will be singing some great Jazz standards, Blues, Bossa Nova and even one of my own songs: "Real Woman". Tickets are 80 shekels and need to be reserved ahead of time as the venue is small. "Canta Brasil" is a Brazilian music radio show which is being aired in the jerusalem area radio every Sunday at 9pm. The show also has a Podcast which people all over the world can listen to at any time - free. On Sunday July 1st, yours truly (me...) was interviewed on the show in relation to my recordings in Portuguese and my love for Brazilian music. After the interview, my recording of CHEGA DE SAUDADES (by Tom Jobim) is played. All together the show dedicates about 10 minutes to...me! As the program is absolutely beautiful, i thought you might enjoy listening. My portion starts at around the 19th minute, but if you don't understand Hebrew go to around minute 24th where the song is about to start. Also, at the same day of the radio broadcast I also performed that same song in a little Tapas bar near Tel-Aviv. I am also enclosing the link to the video from that performance.
